My Calling, a Life “Redefined”

Renew, Restore, Redefine: God has called me to reach out to women who have lost their sense of self worth, empowering them to move beyond their brokenness through the power of Jesus Christ. He has asked that I work to guide them through the process of renewal in Christ, through the restoring power of His work on Calvary as they allow Him to redefine them into the women that he created them to be.

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.” Psalm 147:3

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength: they shall mount up with wings as eagles: they shall run, and not be wear; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31 (My Life Verse)

“He restoreth my soul: he leaders me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.” Psalm 23:3

“But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee O Israel, Fear not: For I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name: thous art mine.” Isaiah 43:1

Have you ever considered all of the women in the Bible that allowed God to “redefine” their lives. Think of Ruth, Mary the mother of Jesus, Mary Magdalene, the woman at the well, the woman with an issue of blood, and I could go on. What about us, what if we allowed God to “redefine” our lives into what He has planned for our lives? We do not have to be the mistakes we have made, the struggles that have come our way, or tied to the definition the world has given to us. Let’s allow God to “redefine” us and see who we become in Him.

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6

Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen” Hebrews 13:21
