“Behold, it is come and it is done, saith the Lord God; this is the day whereof I have spoken.” Ezekiel 39:8
Why is it so hard for us to believe the reality of what God has spoken, when all through history His Word held true?
He Speaks . . . It Comes . . . It is Done !!!It seems so simple and yet is so hard !!
“And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.” Mark 6:6
“And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” Matthew 17:20
“And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.” Matthew 8:26
Jesus spoke and it was done, He accomplished what the disciples failed to do because of their unbelief. We do the same. What seems like a big issue, an overhanging problem that just won’t go away; yet not once do we stop and turn it over to God with a sincere belief that He will take care of all things. We make the pretense of praying, but we turn right around and attempt to fix it ourselves. Simple, yet so hard . . .
“But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.” Matthew 9:22
“And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” Matthew 21:22
“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.” Romans 15:13
Simple, yet so hard unless we come before Him believing that He can do what He has promised !!!
“And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.” Revelations 21:6-7
