I Will Praise Him

Sometimes I love nothing more than to sit and contemplate the magnificence of my God. To close my eyes and envision all that He is and is not. Just, Pure, Holy, Faithful, Longsuffering, Merciful, Full of Grace, Righteous, All Knowing, All Powerful, All Truth, All Loving, Beyond all of my Understanding.

Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.” Psalm 116:5

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.” Isaiah 40:28

He is Not Limited, Not Slack, Not a Respecter of Persons, Not Unjust, Not Weary, Not Willing that Any Should Perish, Not Unknowing, Not Unreachable.

Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:” Isaiah 59:1

God is my All, my Strength, my Saviour, my Jehovah. “Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. And in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.” Isaiah 12:2-4

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.” Psalm 28:7

“For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.” Psalm 96:4

Because of Who He is and Who He is not, I will Praise Him.
